In the soccer game, every player has it own job when playing soccer. Before a game starts, each player has a role on the soccer field when facing another team. Their role and position would help out a team to win, but also to maintain order. In soccer, a goalkeeper, is the last player standing to prevent the opposite team from scoring. Its main goal its to block the ball from entering the net. Although, he or she can use their hands, and their feet or any part of their body to block the ball from going into the net. The next set of players are identified as defense, and usually there are four defense on the field. They are positioned in front of the goalkeeper, and its main goal is to defend the goalkeeper from facing the opposite striker/ forward player from scoring. In front of the defense players, comes the midfielder , and usually there are 4 midfielders. The midfielders role is probably the most difficult role from all. Their job is to protect the whole teammate. They have to help out the defense, the striker players, and if they can reach they can also help out the goalkeeper. Its is the most difficult role because they are constantly running, passing the ball from one player to another, and most important is to score no matter what. Ahead of the midfielder are the striker/forward players. Their role is to score goals since they are close to the opposite team net, and usually there are 2 strikers.. The striker/forward player has 60% chance of scoring, Midfielder 30, Defense 9%, and Goalkeeper 1%.
